About the UPPSC PCS prelims

  • Exam pattern
  • Syllabus
  • Preparation tips
  • Questions

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) recruits Provincial Civil Services officers through a preliminary exam, the mains and an interview. The prelims has two objective papers: General Studies Paper I and Paper II (CSAT).

ExamForge gives you free, timed practice in that shape: three General Studies sets of 150 questions and three CSAT sets of 100, with an explanation after you submit. Your first three sets need no signup.

The questions are at an introductory level, well below the difficulty of the real prelims, and the CSAT sets are mostly English vocabulary, simple arithmetic and letter puzzles rather than comprehension passages. Use them to warm up, not as a measure of readiness. The bank is in English only, sets give you one minute per question and no marks are deducted for wrong answers.
