The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) recruits civil police constables through a written exam, followed by document verification, a physical standard test, a physical efficiency test and a medical. Recruitment drives are among the largest in the country.

ExamForge gives you 10 free, timed UP Police mock tests of 132 to 150 questions each, covering General Knowledge, General Hindi, Numerical and Mental Ability, and Mental Aptitude and Reasoning. Every question has an explanation after you submit. The question bank is in English only. Your first three sets need no signup.

The real exam deducts marks for wrong answers. ExamForge does not, so after each set take off the penalty to see your exam-style score.

Selection process

  3. Physical efficiency test

    A timed race, qualifying only.

  4. Medical examination

Candidates on the final list are checked before appointment.

Preparation tips

  • Make General Hindi a daily habit

About a quarter of the paper is Hindi, and grammar rules are the same every year.

  • Practise 150 questions in one sitting

Stamina matters. Take at least a few full sets in a single go before the exam.

  • Revise Uttar Pradesh facts

Districts, rivers, places, schemes and leaders of the state appear in every paper.

  • Watch the penalty

At −0.5 per wrong answer, four correct answers pay for each pair of mistakes.
