The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recruits Constables (Executive) for Delhi Police through a computer-based test (CBT). Candidates who clear the CBT go on to the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) and a medical.

ExamForge gives you 10 free, timed Delhi Police mock tests of 80 to 90 questions each, covering General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Reasoning, Numerical Ability and Computer Fundamentals. Every question has an explanation after you submit. The question bank is in English only. Your first three sets need no signup.

The real CBT deducts a quarter of a mark for every wrong answer. ExamForge sets do not, so take a quarter off for each wrong answer to see your exam-style score.

Eligibility

Requirements are set in each SSC notice. In general:

Education
Class 12 pass from a recognised board.
Age
18 to 25 years on the cut-off date, with relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, ex-servicemen and other categories.
Driving licence
Male candidates must hold a valid driving licence for light motor vehicles or motorcycle by the stage the notice specifies.
Physical standard
Height and chest standards apply, separately for men and women.

Selection process

Selection runs in this order.

  1. Computer-based test

    The 100-question paper above.

  2. Physical Endurance and Measurement Test

Race and jump events plus physical measurement for those who clear the CBT.

  3. Medical and document verification

Candidates on the provisional list are examined and their certificates are checked before the final merit list.

Preparation tips

  • Do not skip Computer Fundamentals

Ten questions on basic MS Office and the internet are among the easiest marks in the paper.

  • Revise current affairs every day

General Knowledge is half of the CBT, and the last six months of news matter most.

  • Watch your accuracy

With −0.25 for a wrong answer, avoid wild guesses in the final minutes.
